  • A serial DIY'er

A product designer, lifelong learner, and the kind of curious that leads to rabbit holes, side projects, and too many tabs.

I speak 4 languages, but inside, it’s mostly sticky notes, scattered thoughts, and the occasional brilliant metaphor. When I’m not designing, I’m in a bouldering gym, on a coffee hunt, or tweaking Claude prompts.

FIELD NOTES

This is where my brain leaves breadcrumbs. Notes from books, stray thoughts, podcast moments, photography, grids I couldn’t walk past basically, the stuff I want to remember.

Is the design we practice worth saving?

Every think piece about restructuring design teams for AI starts with a false premise.

Design

The spotlight effect

The spotlight in your head is permanent. The one in the room barely exists.

Psychology

Be the one who prioritizes the user

Technology changes very fast, but people change very slowly. Their fears, motivations, confusion, habits, and behaviors stay surprisingly constant.

Design

The bitter lesson

People are often told to pick a lane, specialize, and become one clear thing.

Society

Competitor analysis should be the baseline, not the North Star

If all you do is follow what competitors shipped last month, you’re not building, you’re reacting.

Design

Nietzsche’s “Become who you are”

“Become who you are” doesn’t mean finding some hidden truth. It means becoming someone you haven’t figured out yet — through how you love, work, react, rest, and learn.

Philosophy

LET'S TALK

Speed is no longer the constraint. Direction still is.

I help founders, product teams, and designers move in the right direction. A 15-minute call is a good place to start.
